Send the link, and the person opens the certificate on their phone, keeps it and marks it as used when the time comes. You see when it was opened and when it was used. A PNG in HD and an A4 sheet for printing are there as well, so the certificate can also be handed over on paper.
Building and sending a certificate is free, and no account is needed. Without an account the link lives 30 days — there would be nobody to find and extend it later. With a free account the certificate does not expire on its own, lands in “My certificates”, and you can extend the date yourself at any time.

A promise is what only you can give — a dinner you will cook, a 60-minute massage, a day off from chores. There are 14 ready-made certificates: each one brings its name, its note, its design and a hint about the amount, so only the names are left to fill in.

The certificate has states: sent, opened, used. When the person opens it you see the date; when they press “Use it” you get a notification. A week before the end, and again a day before, a reminder goes to both of you, and the date can be extended from “My certificates”. That is what a downloaded picture cannot do — it ends with the download.

Yes — the «Brands» tab above shows certificates from verified brands. You buy them from the brand, the code comes to your email, and the brand redeems it at the till. A brand certificate can also go into your wishlist, so friends know exactly what to give.
