Part 2: Group Chat — Collective Gift Planning

Step 1: Create or Open a Group

Add @cadoumebot to any existing group, or create a dedicated one — e.g. "Gift for Masha — March 15".

Step 2: Add @cadoumebot

Group Info → Add Members → search @cadoumebot → add.

Step 3: Make It an Admin

By default, bots in groups only see messages that mention them. To let the bot detect any link anyone pastes: tap the bot in the members list → Edit → Promote to Admin. The only permission needed is Read Messages — leave everything else off.

Step 4: Authorize and Bind a Collection

The organizer types /auth in the group, opens the link, logs in. Then types /bind and selects a collection. Done — the group is live.

Step 5: Participants Authorize Once

Anyone who wants to add wishes types /auth in the group chat and follows the same link flow — takes about 60 seconds. People who only want to view the collection need nothing — just share the Wishdo.io collection URL.
