You find something you want while browsing — a jacket, a camera lens, a coffee machine. You open a new tab, log in to your wishlist, copy the link, paste it, type the name, guess the price. By the third item you have stopped bothering. The Wishdo browser extension removes every one of those steps: you click one icon, and the product is on your wishlist.

The extension reads the structured product data that online stores already publish for search engines — JSON-LD Product markup and Open Graph tags. That is the same data Google uses to show a price under a search result. Wishdo reads it directly from the page you are looking at, so there is no scraping delay and no waiting for a server to fetch the URL.

If a store publishes no structured data at all, the extension falls back to the page title and the largest image on the page — and you can correct anything in the popup before saving.

Open the Wishdo extension page in the Chrome Web Store and click Add to Chrome. Confirm the prompt — the Wishdo icon appears in your toolbar straight away. The same page works for Edge, Opera, Brave and Arc, since they all install Chrome extensions.

Click the Wishdo icon and press Connect wishdo.io. Log in as usual — the extension links itself to your account automatically and the tab closes. You only do this once.

The list you chose last time is remembered, so the second item takes two clicks and about five seconds.

Both add wishes from a link, and both are free. They cover different moments:

Most people use both: the extension while browsing on a laptop, and @cadoumebot when something catches their eye on a phone. They write to the same wishlists, so the lists stay in sync.

The extension requests the smallest set of permissions such a tool can work with. It reads a page only when you click the icon — it does not run in the background, does not watch your browsing, and does not touch any site until you ask it to. The only server it talks to is wishdo.io, and the only data sent is the product you chose to save.

Your account is connected with a token scoped exclusively to the extension: it can add wishes and read your list names, and nothing else. You can disconnect it any time from the popup.
